Project Angelicus is a project I've been working on for quite a while now (since 2003)and I've kept the plot as a secret, for quite some time as well. Now I finally managed to write it down for you guys to read!

If this should turn into a comic or a novel I'm not sure of yet. You could say I want to do both! Mostly I would want to turn it into an animated series, but like that would ever happen?
I am also working on a pixel rpg starring the characters which I'm only doing for the fun of it!
If it takes place in a near future or a made up world, I haven't decided either.

THE STORY
Any how, the story place in a country where genetic manipulation is a common thing and were Social Darwinism has ruled with a iron grip for the last three decades.
The mysterious prime minister who calls himself Darwin, whose goal is to refine the human race by creating a superior race, forces all pregnant women to genetically enhance the traits, that Darwin values, of their future babies.
This has been going on for twenty years meaning the majority of all kids are so called enhanced. Some few are illegally born without any enhancements and one of those are Yosuke (or Ratio) whom the story revolves around.

Being a non enhanced is tough, It forces one to live as outcasts, but since Yosuke naturally has the traits that defines a enhanced, sharp, handsome and tall, he gets treated as an equal.
But Yosuke has another perk, he possesses a pair of grey birdlike wings, which he hides by shutting off his emotions

Due to some not so fully corrupted forces wanting to stop Darwin and his wicked ideas, Darwin fears a war and Ratio is as only non enhanced recruited at to the war academy, Evergreen, a school which trains kids into elite exosuit wearing soldiers.
At Evergreen, he befriends the bit nutty Leon, who is somehow aware his secret, yet he doesn't know it himself.

Ratio and Leon and the others at Evergreen are forced to fight for their country, but really most of them would rather take the enemy's side
Thus Ratio secretly begin planning a conspiracy to take the minister down from the inside, at while the same time searching for answers about his true origin and why he has wings.

The rest is somewhat secret because there is so many things in the story I haven't figured out yet.. lol
